I accidentally summoned a dream table a few years ago when I recruited all GMs for a year long campaign of Bookhounds of San Francisco using Trail of Cthulhu. It was a dream table because everyone did two things very well: 1, they all brought their A-game imagination, sharing the spotlight and collaborating on the most real and thrilling campaign I’ve ever run, and 2, they willingly threw their PCs into every threat and danger with no regard for health or sanity. Everyone drove their PCs like it was the end of the world and they needed to get every last mile of story out of them.
It helped that everyone was super friendly and funny and just plain nice.
