Good Monday, Gamer!
"To be or not to be, that is the saving throw." - William Shakespeare, OSE DM.
Well, the curtain has closed on Dave's Dolmenwood run, and it was fun for sure. I’m working on my “Played It” post to share some thoughts, but you should check out Judd’s post where he talks about our sessions and the joys of playing in Dolmenwood. Any time he mentions Sorcerer RPG, my ears perk up. Give it a read here: Daydreaming about Dolmenwood.
Up next on the docket—Moria Mondays! My open-table The One Ring series is coming to life, of course I'm running Moria: Through the Doors of Durin. Online games using Foundry as the VTT and Notion as our trusty “note-taker.” It seems like setting up VTTs for play can be a LOT of work, and Foundry’s unofficial system for TOR is no exception. There's some prep to do to get it running smoothly. I’m working it out. I'm also thinking about sharing some of my solo dwarf runs into Moria. What do you think—would an actual play write-up be interesting? I'd focus on the game flow and systems of The One Ring and Moria's solo mechanics. Let me know!
Inktober’s solo journaling RPG is still rolling along, and man, I really like inking with pen nibs. Graphite scribble drawing for underlayers is working out nicely, and brush pens are... well, let's say they’re a challenge!
ICYMI, Warhorn is now under the Organized Play Foundation. It will stay free and in active development, which is good. That eases some of my thoughts about funding for TinyCon.events. We’re leaning towards a hybrid model—mixing memberships and sponsorships to keep things running smoothly. I'll keep you posted on where we fall out.
Catch you next week! 🎲

I hopped over to Judd’s article. Good stuff but what got me really excited is his T shirts! I loved the Independent RPG shirt so I bought one!
That is an amazing write up by Judd. I am so intrigued by Sorcerer for Dolmenwood.
