Good Monday, Gamer!
I'm 0-2-1 as the leader of Mars FAE defense forces. Fighting for the survival of Humanity against the emergent AI threat known as OGRE. I've fought against the MK III and IV so far. To be fair, these are early games, and I'm helping Max play and think..because I'm a fan, but the Ogre tank is TUFFF! Steve Jackson’s Ogre is classic. There’s something incredibly satisfying about this wargame. The tactical options and sheer joy of strategizing against an impending mechanical doom are fantastic! My kiddo and I have been going head-to-head, and let me tell you, trying to take down an Ogre Mk III is no easy feat! If you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot.
Prepping The One Ring's Moria Expansion for Open-Table Play
I’ve been diving deep into the Moria expansion for The One Ring RPG, prepping it for some open-table play sessions. The richness of the lore and the depth of the setting are perfect for creating epic, unforgettable adventures. Whether it’s exploring the dark halls or facing the ancient evils that dwell within, Moria promises some serious excitement and some new thoughts and methods about dungeon crawling. Can’t wait to get this rolling and see how the players tackle the might of Khazad-dûm! And if I have my druthers —I’ll convert the 5E Moira book for OSE play!
