Good Monday Gamer🎅🏽
You know the holidays have taken hold when your regular game day with the kid gets preempted for some holiday band thing he wants to go play in. 🤷🏾♂️ Then I hear the Three Musketeers movie is out...but not in my town! One is the boringest number!!
I was chatting with Judd this weekend, and we both were thinking of running Christmas morning games, open table style. Whoever shows up, shows up. I'm leaning toward sci-fi, something with fast character generation. Maybe Mothership...and my Kuiper Belt artefact space dungeon. If I have my druthers, I’ll run it a few times before the end of the year.

I've merged my 'Rolling Pixels' posts into Play Fearless as its own Newsletter called 'Throwing Pixels' --complete with a pixel purple dinosaur. If you're interested, you'll have to opt in. I'm an Opt-in over Opt-out animal. Throwing Pixels is a devlog of my misadventures in the Indie video game dev space. I'm currently prototyping my wizard survival offer 'Grimoires' (FKA Wizard Time!) and paper working another game inspired by the CCG Netrunner and also turn-based.
It's back, Games on Demand Online Feb 16-18. Come on out to run or play games, or both!!
Last chance gaming: we've got about two weeks left of gaming this year. If you could fit them in, name two games: One you wanted to play but didn't get to in 2023 and a game you'd love to play again, one more time in 2023.
I'll go first. Ars Magica RPG. I wish I could have gotten this to the table this year. I'd play Rolemaster I again. Mad love to the Oracle of Scalu Crew that made those sessions possible.
Catch ya next week!
