It turned out better than I had hoped for! The game starts some days from the Orc homes. Polo has been on the run and makes it that far before the hunting Orcs catch up to him. There is some friction on how to bring Polo back, but agreement on capturing him. Through beliefs and game play we discover why Polo is running and how committed these Orcs are to returning him. The lands outside the Orc homes are treacherous, full of things that care not for orc or dwarf. (Elves, humans, a swamp wyrm, A cliff wyvern, rival hunters...) Will Polo escape? Do the Orcs haul him back? Do they survive their trek through the uncharted lands?
I think the games that follow will all have different outcomes!
I'm curious how you found Burning Wheel with a group of Orcs and a Dwarf, I've never seen that combo before and it sounds cool haha
